Looking for Pastel White, Flash Silver or another original T3 finish? This quick reference brings selected color names and paint codes from the downloadable chart into a readable list. Confirm the code on your own van and use a physical paint sample before choosing a finish.

Where is the paint code on a Vanagon?

The reference chart identifies the buildsheet sticker near the fuse panel as a source for the paint code, and the stamped plate on the left front-seat pedestal as a source for the sales code. Equipment and records vary by vehicle. Paint codes and sales codes are different identifiers; keep a clear photograph of the complete label.

The source has unknown codes and unconfirmed photographs; those uncertain entries are omitted here rather than guessed. It also lists other Ivory codes, so the color name alone is not enough to identify a finish.

How do two-tone paint codes work?

The chart shows combinations using separate upper and lower colors. For example, Capri Blue (LK5E / sales code J6) over Marine Blue (LA5B / sales code J2) is listed as a two-tone pairing. Record both colors and their positions when planning a repair or repaint.

Can I choose paint from a screen?

A photograph or digital preview is useful for exploring a direction. Lighting, screens, weathering and previous repainting can change how a color appears. Confirm the actual finish and a physical sample with your painter before approving it.
