We're biased, but we think La Paz is the best city in Baja.
La Paz has a lot going for it. Beautiful beaches, a stunning seaside boardwalk called the Malecon, fishing, boating, hiking, and amazing restaurants. You and your family are sure to enjoy your time here. With regards to accomodations, La Paz offers something for every budget. From campgrounds and hostals, to lavish resorts and everything in between. Airbnb is also a great option, but is beyond the scope of what we can list here. If possible, try to stay in a part of town called "Centro" which as the name implies is centrally located and easily walkable. Below are some suggested places to stay at several price points.
Low Cost:
Camping: Peace Center (great central location) ioverlander.com/places/39408-peace-center
