Curious about Baja?

Whether you're looking to visit for our restoration services, our rental program, or something else, Baja has something for everyone. 🇲🇽

For many years Baja California was a hidden gem, many parts of it still are. Many of the travelers visiting here were surfers, adventurers, or both! In the 1970's a two lane highway was completed linking the US/Mexico border in the north, and Cabo San Lucas in the southernmost tip and the full length of Baja was finally accessible to the masses. This lead to the growth of the resort towns of Cabo San Lucas, Todos Santos, and others. La Paz, where we are based, is the state capital of the State of Baja California Sur, and has thus far maintained its status as a hidden gem. A couple of hours drive from touristy Cabo, La Paz maintains the look and feel of an authentic Mexican coastal city. We boast miles of some of the best beaches in the world, top notch cuisine, a stunningly beautiful seaside boardwalk called "The Malecon", affordable accomodations, snorkeling, diving, whale sharks, and so much more. The area around La Paz is also famous for, from November to June, some of the best camping to be had anywhere in the world. A perfect climate, warm days and cool nights, the ability to still find free places to camp right on the beach, its a paradise in a campervan. Leave all of the rules and regulations in the States behind, and come experience camping and VanLife as it was generations ago. Furthermore, La Paz in particular, and Baja in general are, despite what you may have heard in the media, extremely safe. La Paz is often rated as one of the safest cities in Mexico. We also have one of the highest standards of living, and the locals enjoy among the highest incomes in Mexico. Between the US/Mexico border and La Paz, lies 800-1000 miles (depending on route) of largely deserted beaches and open desert with a few small pueblas sprinkled here and there. But don't take it from us. The goal of this page is to act as a repository of articles and videos about La Paz, Baja, and Baja Sur. Check out some of the links below
