Our Workshop

Welcome to LiveTheVanLife Restorations 2.0

Welcome to the brand new LiveTheVanLife Restorations workshop—a space built from the ground up to do this work the right way. Every aspect of the restoration process now lives under one roof: bodywork, a dedicated full-size paint booth, mechanical service, and upholstery all in the same place. This isn’t just a bigger shop—it’s a smarter one. Having every discipline side by side allows for constant communication, better sequencing, and tighter quality control from start to finish.
By keeping everything in-house, we eliminate the handoffs that so often compromise restoration work. Bodywork flows directly into paint. Mechanical work happens alongside interior fabrication. Upholstery is test-fit while the van is still in the shop, not weeks later. The result is a more cohesive build, fewer compromises, and a final product that feels intentional in every detail. This workshop was designed to support long-term projects, careful craftsmanship, and the level of attention these vehicles deserve.
We’re also completely off grid. Our workshop runs independently, powered by renewable energy, reducing our environmental footprint while supporting the same self-sufficient spirit that defines van life itself. It’s a setup that aligns with our values—building vehicles meant for exploration and freedom in a way that respects the places they’re meant to go. This new space represents where we’ve been, and more importantly, where we’re headed.

Where are we located?

We are conveniently located right next to the La Paz International Airport, about 15 minutes from central La Paz by car or taxi.

Want to visit?

Want to schedule a shop tour? We are extremely busy working on our customers vans, and our availability to show folks around our shop are limited and based on our availability. If you are a potential client of ours and would like to see our work, we would love to meet you and give you a tour of our facility. We are not open to the public, and we do not offer walk in service. Our focus is on Paint and Bodywork and larger restoration jobs, and generally speaking all of our work is scheduled many months in advance with our clients, most of whom drive down from the United States or Canada or ship to us from the US/Mexico border. Still, if you are going to be visiting La Paz or the vicinity, and are considering getting your Van worked on by us, we're happy to show you around and chat. Please fill our the form below to schedule a shop tour.
