Water Pump Replacement Mod

Mod Provided by Robert Peters.

Today I replaced the original sink water pump on my 1988 Vanagon GL Westy (Canadian model). I was reluctant to spend more than $50 CDN on getting a new pump, so I ordered one off Amazon for 1/10th that price... a small hack using some pieces of copper tubing to "downsize" the water hose to the new pump's smaller inlet/outlet size, and "Bob's your uncle!" The bonus: while delivering the same volume of water, this pump is almost silent (!)... compared to the banshee whine & groan of the original. (-:
