Front Mirror Extension Mod

Another simple hack was lengthening the post of the rearview mirror, improving the view behind the van... by cutting the post and pounding the two ends into a short piece of 1/2" copper (plumbing) pipe.

Looks to be about 3"? Does it help a lot? I'm too tall for my van sometimes.

This is my friend Robert's mod, ive found my rear view mirror in my Westy to be all but useless due mainly to the rear headbanger closet, instead I rely mostly on my Truck Mirrors which are amazing.
