1990 VW Carat

$13,000 USD or 225,000MXN Pesos

Offered in La Paz, Baja California Sur Mexico
Say hello to Pitaya. This 1990 Vanagon Carat has been completely restored over the past several years. It has less than 90,000 original miles. It started life in Laguna Beach California and was then imported and is legally titled and plated here in Baja Sur. It is very rare to see a Vanagon with legal Mexican plates and registration. We bought it, stripped it completely, had the paint and bodywork professionally done over in Tornado Red, a stock vanagon color. A full windows out paint job with new window seals all around. All of the mechanicals have been gone through, the stock engine was rebuilt locally by Geraldo’s VWs. It has a freshly rebuilt automatic transmission that shifts super smoothly. Inside it has seating for 7, and the rear bench turns into a bed for camping. Theres also a table that flips out from the wall and rear facing jump seats. The van needs nothing and is ready to go camping or for your next road trip. Even has a fresh set of tires on it. Its ready for your families beach camping adventures in Baja or beyond!
