It started life in Laguna Beach California and was then imported and is legally titled and plated here in Baja Sur. It is very rare to see a Vanagon with legal Mexican plates and registration. We bought it, stripped it completely, had the paint and bodywork professionally done over in Tornado Red, a stock vanagon color. A full windows out paint job with new window seals all around. All of the mechanicals have been gone through, the stock engine was rebuilt locally by Geraldo’s VWs. It has a freshly rebuilt automatic transmission that shifts super smoothly.
